The exhibition tilted Radius250 was curated by Marlene Rothacker, Director of Exhibitions, International Arts & Artists in Washington DC.

"Exposing Possibilities" - Opening Reception

Through a Foundation Grant, I recently designed and directed a Visiting Artist Lecture Series. After the lecture students were given cameras and instructed to go back and photograph their communities. "Exposing Possibilities" is the photography exhibition I then curated at the Fine Art Center Gallery at MCCC that features the student's work. The show runs from June 11th - July 9th 2009.

I am pleased to announce that three of my pieces were on exhibition at the Creative Arts Workshop in New Haven, CT.

Featured in Sky’s the Limit: Built, Unbuilt, or Just Imagined, a national exhibition featuring audacious art projects that address the relationship of our physical environment to human life. Juried by Janet Echelman, internationally recognized artist specializing in public art installations and sculpture. The exhibition runs from April 10 to May 15. Custom Paintbrushes up for Auction

These paint brushes were used by painting contractors on campus at MCCC to paint the walls of the new Fine Art Center. I persuaded one of the contractors to give me his used brushes so that I could make custom pieces of art with each brush. The finished painted brushes were donated to the Silent Auction at MCCC to rasie money for the new Fine Art Center.
